Developing a program and conducting independent historical or historiographical research is the third type of history essay. It is usually made in conjunction with current modern issues, that is, it is an attempt to trace the historical roots of a particular process. When conducting such research, the results of which are described in the abstract, the methods of sociology, philosophy, cultural studies and historical and historiographical ones are used.
