Exchange offices-the advantage of which is their availability, favorable exchange rate, but there is a risk to buy fake money.
Currency exchange in the Bank the advantage is the confidence that the money is genuine, but banks usually offer a lower exchange rate compared to exchange offices.

if you take UAH in cash with you from Ukraine, you may simply not find exchange offices that accept Ukrainian currency;
if you take a Bank card with UAH and want to withdraw them at ATMs in the currency of Poland, you will lose a lot. Since the Bank where you will withdraw cash first converts the amount into dollars or euros, and then into zlotys, that is, your hryvnia goes through a double conversion. In addition, the dollar or Euro exchange rate may be significantly less than you could do it yourself.

Relative to other currencies (euros, dollars), it is much easier and even more profitable. Still, it is better to exchange euros in Poland, since the dollar exchange rate is sometimes quite strange and changeable.
In order to exchange any currency in Poland, you do not need any documents. Also, there is a myth that the exchange rate is bad at train stations and airports, so it is better to change the currency somewhere in the middle of the city. This is not the case at all, and often there are favorable conditions there.
All exchange offices have stands where you can see how much a particular currency costs and before changing money, check this mark for buying or selling.
Because, quite often, this is what tourists "bite" for - first they change the money, and then they wonder why it turned out less than indicated on the stand. And the fact is that some write the sale rate, instead of buying, and have extra money from scattered foreigners.
So, when going to Poland, remember that you must take the national currency of this country with you. Although euros also go here, but not everywhere they are accepted for payment, so it is better to have zlotys with you. It will be more profitable to buy them in Ukraine, because the West of Poland you go - the more expensive it will cost to buy zlotys. If you have euros, you can take them with you and exchange them in Poland - the rate will be approximately the same as in Ukraine. If you do not have euros, it is more profitable to exchange hryvnia immediately for zlotys. Most importantly, be careful and pre-study the course to deceive you was not so easy.
Currency exchange in Poland is possible in:
Exchange offices-the advantage of which is their availability, favorable exchange rate, but there is a risk to buy fake money.
Currency exchange in the Bank the advantage is the confidence that the money is genuine, but banks usually offer a lower exchange rate compared to exchange offices.

if you take UAH in cash with you from Ukraine, you may simply not find exchange offices that accept Ukrainian currency;
if you take a Bank card with UAH and want to withdraw them at ATMs in the currency of Poland, you will lose a lot. Since the Bank where you will withdraw cash first converts the amount into dollars or euros, and then into zlotys, that is, your hryvnia goes through a double conversion. In addition, the dollar or Euro exchange rate may be significantly less than you could do it yourself.

Although euros also go here, but not everywhere they are accepted for payment, so it is better to have zlotys with you. It will be more profitable to buy them in Ukraine, because the West of Poland you go - the more expensive it will cost to buy zlotys. If you have euros, you can take them with you and exchange them in Poland - the rate will be approximately the same as in Ukraine. If you do not have euros, it is more profitable to exchange hryvnia immediately for zlotys. Most importantly, be careful and pre-study the course to deceive you was not so easy.
